We are an independent Christian Church serving the communities in the greater Cleveland area.
In appreciation of God’s love and in anticipation of Christ’s return, Christians are instructed to proclaim the Gospel (truth of Jesus Christ as Savior), to Baptize believers, to Teach the Word of God, to extend Fellowship with believers, to Break Bread and to Pray.
Acts 2:41-42, Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-16
All are welcome to attend and there is no collection for money. If you are interested in learning more about God’s love to you and what the Bible teaches please visit us.
We believe the Bible is the only inspired Word of God, without error, encompassing the full truth of God revealed to mankind and is the sole authority for our faith, worship and conduct.
II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1:20-21
We believe the Bible teaches that.....
God is all holiness, all loving, all powerful, all knowing and all present – never created but always existed. God loves all mankind and created both man and women to have a relationship with God.
Revelation 19:1, I John 4:8, Isaiah 6:3, Job 21:22, Romans 11:33, Colossians 2:3, Revelation 4:8,11
Mankind is a sinner by nature and by practice, and the consequence of sin is death and separation from God and Heaven. Man cannot save himself through his own works but must be saved by believing in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, Acts 4:12, John 3:16 & 36
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who came into the world as man, born of a virgin, in order to become the Savior of men.
John 1:1, Philippians 2:6, Matthew 1:23-25, Hebrews 2:14-15
The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, rose again, and ascended back to Heaven. Personal repentance of sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior is the essential and only way of salvation.
I Corinthians 15:1-5, I Peter 2:24, Romans 5:8
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone in Whom eternal life is found. All who trust Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally saved and not come into judgement.
John 3:14-16, John 10:27-29, John 1:11
Heaven is the eternal home of the saved and Hell is the eternal abode of the unsaved.
II Corinthians 5:6-8, Philippians 1:23, Psalm 9:17, Luke 16:23, Revelation 21:8
The return of the Lord Jesus Christ in the air (rapture) to gather His people, will be followed by a period of judgement on the unbelievers (tribulation) and establishment of His Kingdom.
John 14:3, I Corinthians 15:51-54, I Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 19:11-21
Every Sunday 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM
In the New Testament book of Acts, the pattern of the local Assembly of believers was on the first day of the week to claim the promise of the Lord Jesus to be in their midst (Matthew 18:20). As such, the local Assembly of believers in Monticello Gospel Hall gather together unto the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to remember Him in this solemn worship meeting by partaking of the bread and wine – the symbols of His body given and blood shed -- in obedience to the instructions of the Lord Jesus Christ on the night He was betrayed (Luke 22:19-20, Mark 14:22-23, Matthew 26:26-28). In accordance with the Lord’s teaching and the example of the apostles, the local Assembly of believers in Monticello Gospel Hall meets weekly to remember the Lord Jesus and His death for us. The Bible teaches “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death ‘til He come.” (I Corinthians 11:26)
The worship is without prearrangement but led by the Holy Spirit, in which the entire congregation expresses the priesthood of all believers by bringing praise and worship of Christ our Lord before God. In accordance with Bible teaching, public leadership is open to all men in assembly fellowship to stand and to lead the congregation in praise and worship of Christ our Lord.
All visitors are welcome! Participation in the Breaking of Bread, as instructed in the Bible, is for those who have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, have been baptized and are members of similar believing assembly of Christians. Those interested in observing are welcome with designated seating area for observers.
Every Sunday 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM
One of the last instructions of the Lord Jesus Christ while on earth was to proclaim the message of repentance and salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ (great commission). As such, this is the meeting that the Gospel (Good News) of God’s salvation is proclaimed.
We preach the Bible’s call to repent from sin and personally accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The Gospel is the greatest love story, how God so loved the world that He gave His Son to die for our sins so we can be forgiven and go to Heaven.
Every Sunday 11:00AM –12:00PM
Sunday school the focus is on teaching age appropriate Bible truths. For the younger children the emphasis is on various Bible stories with accompanying visual activities or crafts. For the older children the emphasis is on lessons related to various Bible subjects. The teachers also sponsor several special events associated with the various times of the year, as well as an annual Vacation Bible School in which a week long series of evening Bible lessons are conducted with activities and prizes for children participation.
For visiting adults, each week there is Bible Teaching
Every Wednesday 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM
In the New Testament book of Acts it is noted that the local believers gathered for teaching Biblical doctrine and Prayer (Acts 2:42-43). This meeting is divided into two equal sections – the first for prayer and the later for Bible study. The study is focused on verse-by-verse study of various books in the Bible or Biblical themes. Those who participate in the teaching are gifted men in the local Assembly who devote their time to teaching and encouraging the church in the understanding of the Biblical doctrine and how it relates to application in our present day and daily lives.
From time-to-time we have visiting preachers who teach the Bible in either a single meeting or a series of meetings over several days.
